The original membership included Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Leicestershire and Northampton. Since then HSOG has gone from strength to strength and now has over 30 member organisations. We are a non profit making group.

Our aim is to become the leading National Network Group for Highways sharing experiences, understanding and industrybest practice. HSOG aims to help with:-

The identification of topics of general interest for which common agreement will have added advantage.

The development of best practice standards & procedures.

The ability to influence thinking & opinions, particularly that of decision makers, industry leaders & others with the ability to affect policy & practice in highways related activities.

Formation of collective authoritative opinion on working practices.

The collective knowledge & experience of the membership enables HSOG to collaborate with the HSE & other organisations to formulate on best Health& Safety practice.

Members decide on how their money will be spent. Subscriptions are predominantly used to fund events and activities that further promote and develop HSOG’s aims and objectives. HSOG Constitution
